FRIENDS FOREVER

Janessa's family came over this last weekend. Tavis had so much fun with Hailey. Those too have always loved each other and they always will. It's really cute to see them giggle and play together.

Danielle took up indoor soccer this year. A friend talked her into joining her team and after three games now she loves it. Last week she came home super excited because she scored the first goal of her life. I don't know if it has taken the place of volleyball in her heart but it is pretty close. Tonight was the first game I could go to because typically she plays late at night. She was awesome. As you can see she was battling over the ball with this gal and if I took a shot a second later you would see Danielle driving toward the goal. I am proud to have a feisty lady in our home.

FREEDOM

Jade has finally grown enough to have here little toes hit the ground in her walker. She gets those toes going and she has discovered the freedom that only a walker gives. She loves being in control and exploring the kitchen and entryway- she can't quite get the walker to move on the carpet so for now her domain is the kitchen and the entryway!

Potty Training

21 days into the New Year and Tavis is not liking potty training so far. He sits on the toilet and repeats "diaper...diaper...diaper" Hopefully in another 3 weeks he will be jumping on the toilet excited to do his thing!

Tavis's favorite place to eat!

We have made it a tradition to stop here on the way home from Utah. As you can kind of see from the video Tavis is starting to say more and more words. It is fun to see him learning so much!

Tavis on Christmas morning

This is Tavis Christmas morning rolling in his 2008 fire engine red, red ryder scooter that Santa left for him. As you can see, he is also sporting his first pair of Thomas the Train underwear. Danielle got the underwear to get him excited about one of her new year's resolutions for 2008- to get Tavis potty trained!

Isn't he a handsome little devil?

Tavis is now 2 1/2 years old. He is our little charmer! He is a layed back little guy and loves to sit and figure things out. He loves anything electronic or mechanical. The whole cause and effect thing I think really intrigues him. He loves watching out for his little Sister Jade and is a great older brother. He also absolutely adores his cousin Haley (Janessa's daughter). He loves hanging out with all his little buddies and even though he is pretty quiet, they all always seem to love being with him. He has a little magnetic personality and is very likable. Lately because of some of his buddies, he is really starting to become fascinated with trains. He loves to line them up and just push them around watching the patterns the train makes as the movements make their way to the last train car. It is fun to watch him! At this point I am betting that he will become a engineer.

Jady the Lady

It is hard to believe that our little lady is almost 7 months old now! She has been the most precious little addition we could have ever hoped and prayed for. She is a little ball of smiles and energy. Her favorite thing to do is be with her big brother Tavis. They are best friends. She will do anything to get her hands on his sippy cup or scoot and roll over to where he is playing to join in with the fun. It is so fun to watch them. We have a feeling that she will be a very quick walker. She is so determined to always be moving and go to where SHE wants to be! We love Jady the Lady!

Morning after Thanksgiving

Have any of you gotten in over your heads? If you were a fly on the Adamson's wall the day after Thanksgiving, this is what you would have seen. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with 23 guests. And that just wasn't enough for Danielle after rumaging through newspaper ads, she decided to go shopping that night at 11:30 pm with her friend until 8:30 am. When she got home, I left to do a little shopping, and this is what I found when I got back. Danielle snuggled in Jade's boppy in the middle of a room that Tavis obviously had a "hay day" in. Sleep tight sweetie! Maybe next year you'll know your limits!!!!
